The stage is set for the third and final presidential debate from the swing state of Florida.
The candidates, President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, are set to sit-down with CBS News anchor Bob Schieffer and debate on foreign policy.
The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), the organizers for the presidential debates, chose foreign policy for the final debate. The CPD also selected Bob Schieffer to moderate tonight's debate.
Schieffer was delegated to select the six topics for tonight's debate and has been confirmed to be:
- America's role in the world,
- Our longest war - Afghanistan and Pakistan,
- Red Lines: Israel and Iran,
- The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism I,
- The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism II,
- The Rise of China and Tomorrow's World.
The topics can be discussed at random order.
