The latest CNN/ORC International poll shows a tight contest for President Obama and Mitt Romney.
CNN's poll shows that Romney is leading in Florida with 49 percent of likely voters support while 48 percent support Obama.
A Fox News poll said 48 percent of likely voters support Romney compared to 45 percent who support Obama.
In Ohio, 46 percent say they support Obama to 43 percent supporting Romney, according to a Fox poll. Ohio has 18 electoral votes and Florida has 29.
Even in "favorability" the two states flip flop on each candidate. The Fox poll says that in Florida, Romney's favorability is 55 percent, and in Ohio, 48 percent. Obama's favorability is 53 percent in Ohio and 51 percent in Florida.
In the Midwest, the polls are also close. The Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Marist Poll shows the president is leading over opponent Mitt Romney 51 percent to Romney's 43 percent in Iowa. In Wisconsin, Obama leads with 51 percent to Romney's 45 percent. Combined, the two states make up for 16 electoral votes. In order to win the election, a candidate needs 270 total electoral votes.
"If Obama wins both Iowa and Wisconsin, according to NBC's latest battleground map, he could reach or surpass 270 electoral votes by either winning: 1) just Ohio; 2) a combination of Colorado, Nevada and New Hampshire; or 3) a combination New Hampshire and Virginia," NBC News says.
Both candidates will appear in the Sunshine State this Monday for the third and final presidential debate, beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
