The final episode "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 recently aired presenting the identity of "A".
TV Line reported that the season finale aired on Tuesday, March 24, where fans got to see the house of "A". In the previous episode, "A" rerouted the girls' police van to a creepy giant dollhouse, which featured replicas of their own bedrooms. The girls were made to act out a number of weird scenarios inside the house.
One of the big reveals included Mona being alive. However, she did not want to be called "Mona" but "Alison DiLaurentis". "A" compelled her to assume Alison's identity. Second, Spencer's parents already know about "A" after they were informed by Toby and Alison. Third, "A" refers to Alison, or Mona as Alison the "favorite". Fourth, in Spencer's playroom, the blocks spelled out "Charles", which revealed the true name of "A". Fifth, Andrew was spotted eavesdropping on the phone conversation between Melissa and Hastings, which shows his darker intentions. Sixth, Jason has a twin, which could be Charles, as seen on an old family video.
Heavy.com reported that Toby also discovered that the police are now looking for Caleb. Meanwhile, the girls are brought to a room where they are provided with decorations and items for their "prom", which they will enact. Mona was part of the Prom committee. They would be recreating "A Night At The Opera".
The girls were all dressed with mannequins all around wearing masquerade masks. "A" is also disguised as one of the mannequins. Mona was announced as the prom queen, then the girls featured a crown to award to the prom king, Charles. He appeared wearing a mask. When the girls took a photo of Charles, a blackout followed and they scramble. The police found the van at a farm where the girls used to visit when they were kids.
In the end, the girls move outside but found themselves surrounded with an electric fence.
At that point, the main issue was who Charles was and what his relationship with the girls was. Haveuheard.net reported that fans already speculated Charles' identity. Some say that he might be Andrew, Aria's tutor. There are also talks that Detective Holbrook, Caleb or Jason are also very likely to be "A". Toby is also suspected to be "A", since he is on the police force. Finally, Mike is also likely to be "A" since he was in love with Mona or Lucas and has been involved in most of the terrible things that happened to the girls.
