Zoe Saldana doesn't intend to join the hate parade against Dolce & Gabbana. In an interview with E! News during the 2015 GLAAD Media Awards, Saldana revealed that she would not join in the boycott against the Italian fashion designing duo.

"No! Not at all, that would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice," the 36-year-old actress told E! News. "People are allowed to their own opinion, however, I wouldn't have chosen to be so public about something that's such a personal thing."

She continued, "Obviously it caused some sensitivity, but then again if you continue to follow the news, you see they all kinda hugged it out, so why are we making a big deal about it?"

Dolce & Gabbana (Domenica Dolce and Steffano Gabbana) came under fire for their comments regarding same-sex parenting. The designers stated, in an interview published in Italy's Panorama magazine, that they oppose gay adoptions, saying, "The only family is the traditional one," Mirror Online wrote.

"No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed," Dolce said, as quoted by Mirror Online. "You are born to be a mother and a father. Or at least that's how it should be. I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented wombs, semen chosen from a catalog."

For Saldana, the remarks of the fashion duo have been misinterpreted and "lost in translation." She added, "I'm certainly not going to stop wearing Dolce, and I'm certainly not going to be refuting when they are adopting synthetic children, however they wanted to say it."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress further explained: "My husband [Marco Perego] is from Italy and if I judged him based on the words that he misuses in our English language he wouldn't be here today. It's like look people, have a drink, relax, it's okay."

Some celebrities and TV personalities who expressed their decision to boycott Dolce & Gabbana are Elton John, Andy Cohen, Ricky Martin, Madonna, Sharon Stone, and just recently, the couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, E! News wrote.

DeGeneres, 57, vowed to never wear the designers' luxury fashion label again, adding that the two are "ignorant," according to a separate report from E! News. Rossi agreed that everyone is entitled to free speech, but she doesn't understand why Dolce and Gabbana would say the controversial statements.

DeGeneres and de Rossi, who recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, have no children, E! News noted.
