The next Skyrim DLC may allow players to mount a dragon, according to a Bethesda forum member known as Mardoxx, who scanned the source code for the game's patch 1.8.

According to an IGN report, Mardoxx notes that latest DLC will be titled Dragonborn, a claim supported by Bethesda's September trademark of the name. The code analysis revealed the following locations in the upcoming release: Raven Rock, Castle Karstaag, Telvanni Tower, and Miraak Temple.

The code suggests that players will be given the ability to cast spells on mounts. Mardoxx adds that new Dwemer objects, armor types, and enemies have also been added, which are altogether expected additions to the game. The forum user also argues that PS3 DLC is nearing release. Below is a fraction of the code.

Bethesda previously released both the "Dawnguard" and "Hearthfire" DLC packs. Dawnguard immerses players in the eternal war between mankind and the vampire race. A few missions in, gamers are given a choice to hunt vampires, or to become one. If the player chooses to become a vampire, they unlock the ability to change their form into a "Vampire Lord," which opens up access to various supernatural powers. Other additions include a skill tree for Werewolves, mounted combat, and the introduction of the crossbow weapon.

Hearthfire allows gamers to build their own house and customize it to their liking.

Bethesda has yet to comment on any rumors or speculation. Stay tuned to LatinosPost for the latest updates on Skyrim's upcoming DLC.
