The Air Jordan 20 is set to return in a new colorway on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. EST on Nike.com.

Dubbed, the Air Jordan XX "Stealth", the new shoe showcases a number of details that were not available on the original version which was released 10 years ago. The retro sneaker will come in black/stealth and varsity red tones and will be priced at $220.

Sneaker News reported that compared to the laser print on the strap of the original model, the newer version features brown laser etching showing the inner membrane of the material, which used to be black in 2005.

Nike.com reported that the Air Jordan 20 has unique features that make it great for both playing basketball and casual use. The shoe features the Independent Podular Suspension or IPS cushioning technology, midfoot strap and ankle-strap upper that provide great support and lockdown. The pods provide support to the wearer at key areas of the foot, allowing flexibility, agility and soft landings. The upper is made of patent leather and nubuck, making it highly durable.

Sneaker Bar Detroit reported that the upper is predominantly black. The black nubuck material is present on most of the upper with overlays of black patent leather. There are also varsity red accents on the insole and inner ankle collar. The shoe also features a grey outsole and a grey heel counter with various numbers embossed on it. The silver Jumpman logo is located on the back of the sneaker and an image printed in silver on the insole.

The shoe silhouette was designed by Tinker Hatfield while the laser details were handled by Mark Smith. Kicks on Fire wrote that the silhouette exudes both style and performance, although the main focus was more on the laser-etchings when the pair was first released a decade before. Jordan fans will notice various symbols and clues throughout the Air Jordan 20 "Stealth", based on real life stories of the legendary Chicago Bull.

Overall, the shoe has a very futuristic appeal that makes it casually wearable even today. When it was released in 2005, the campaign slogan stated, "Welcome to the future", directing to its sleek and advanced appearance.

The sneaker gives reference to Michael Jordan's iconic legacy and his various achievements on and off the basketball court. Compared to other versions of retro Air Jordan XX released, the black/stealth and red varsity colorway features the same tones as the original.
