Christina Aguilera has joined "The Voice" again and she is sharing timeless advice for the contestants, Extra TV reported.

The veteran "The Voice" judge will be joined by Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams in the judges' seat.

With her return, she has imparted a message to her future team saying, "I want to see them shine, and I want to see them on that stage, I want them to live in that moment."

She also shared how she has drawn out the contestants' potential before.

"I take them back to their childhood memory, like, 'Who did you love growing up? What was the record that made you want to be here in the first place? Take yourself back in that moment.' Screw all the cameras, screw all of us judges," said the "Lady Marmalade" singer.

The mother-of-two also said that she had grown up in this type of environment, "competitive formatted show, 'Star Search.'" However, she did not win. But after that "loss," she was "handed a record deal, and the whole thing, and it's like, okay, off to the races."

She explained that it did not happen overnight. The deal came years after she lost in that competition.

"Those things in my back pocket, and parts of those colors that made my journey good and bad, that made me the fighter and the strong person I am today. So that's all I try to instill in [the contestants]," shared the only female judge for this season.

Her co-judges were very glad about her return, according to People.

Levine expressed his appreciation and said: "Christina Aguilera, I missed you so much. I love you. It's great to have you back."

Then, Shelton joked, "Not a lot's changed... Adam is still immature [and] I still drink as much as I used to."

Meanwhile, as a tradition, the coaches performed during the opening show. However, as Cartermatt noted, "while every one of the coaches has a heck of a lot of talent, that does not always mean that they actually sound great together."

For "The Voice" Season 8, Aguilera, Shelton, Williams and Levine have collaborated for a Lenny Kravitz song, "Are You Gonna Go My Way." Unfortunately, the audience were saying that this is not their best performance. At some point, Shelton stood out from the judges as Cartermatt noted that he should have gotten a "bigger role in the song."
