Firefox's version 16 has been suspended, 24 hours since its release.
In a blog post by Mozilla's Director of Security Assurance, Michael Coates, "security vulnerability" is the reason for temporarily suspending the latest version of Firefox.
Coates added that they are actively working on solving the problems and will provide updates.
Firefox version 15 is unaffected.
According to Coates, "The vulnerability could allow a malicious site to potentially determine which websites users have visited and have access to the URL or URL parameters. At this time we have no indication that this vulnerability is currently being exploited in the wild."
For those that have downloaded Firefox 16, users are asked to downgrade to version 15.

The director of security assurance noted that users could also wait until an updated version 16 is issued.
By Thursday, version 16 can be downloaded again.

It is unclear how many people have downloaded the latest version of Firefox, but Mozilla does not more than 450 million people use their browser, making it among the three leading web browsers in the world.
