The new Asus ZenBook UX305 is now available in the market and interested buyers can now pre-order the device which is hailed as the slimmest laptop at the Asus store. It has a price tag of $699.

Asus described its new Zenbook in three words -- fast, slim, and beautiful. "Asus ZenBook is lighter, slimmer and faster than other notebooks in its class to give you the unmatched power and all-day portability you need to conquer your day. And when other glossy notebooks show more glare than what's actually on the screen, ASUS ZenBook always shines through even the sunniest days."
The new device boasts of its 0.5 inches girth. Plus it also weighs less at only 2.6 pounds. It has an ultra-sharp 13.3 inch Full HD in-plane switching (IPS) display that provides 1920 x 1080 resolution, with an anti-glare matte.
"ZenBook UX305 is unlike any Ultrabook out there that makes a statement of individuality with sophistication. It's laser-edged, concentric circle pattern is inspired by a circular clock for a timeless design, and the aluminum unibody adds form to functionality as it travels with you weightlessly throughout the day. Complemented with world class innovation inside as well as out, there's power beckoning behind every pixel of the display and every press of the key," Asus says.
It is expected to be more powerful and faster than other devices as it has the Intel Core M processor in it. Asus promises that its 256 GB solid-state drive (SSD) is "nearly six times faster than conventional 500 GB hard drives. It also has an 8 GB RAM. It also has a strong battery which could last up to 10 hours.

The new laptop also comes with a 1.2-megapixel HD camera for video chatting. It also has three built-in USB 3.0 ports, a microphone-in/headphone-out jack, a micro HDMI, and an SD card reader. It also has the Windows 8.1 as its operating system. The new device also has the smart fanless design to keep it quiet and to save more power. Every purchase of the ZenBook UX305 comes with a 16GB of WebStorage space free for three years. It is available on the color "obsidian."
According to PC World, the new Asus laptop was first seen last September during the IFA show in Berlin.
