In anticipation of the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend, Nike featured the Basketball Zoom City Collection, with New York City as the focal point.

Uproxxx reported that the latest sneaker pack features four models for Nike's signature basketball players. The Kobe X, Kyrie 1, KD7 and LeBron 12 will be featured in colorways "inspired by the cultural capital of the world". Nike.com revealed that the Kobe X and KD7 will be the first to launch on February 13, 2015, followed by the Kyrie 1 and LeBron 12 on Valentine's Day.

TruthAndFellowship wrote that Nike Basketball was highly influenced by the unique New York architecture in designing the Zoom City Collection. The colorways are modern, clean and feature attractive graphics based on the city skyline's unique architectural form. There will also be matching apparel available for every shoe.

According to Realty Today, the LeBron 12 in the Zoom City Collection was inspired by the Flatiron Building in New York, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway. The shoe has geometrical angles on the front and inner lining. The sneaker has a predominantly white upper with black and green accents. The outsole is a combination of blue, green and pink. The pair will retail at $220.

Meanwhile, the Kobe X, which was designed to pay tribute to the New York's World Fair in 1964, has a black upper with hints of platinum. The outsole is mango and green. The shoe features hybrid cushioning and dynamic traction that will be perfect for guards on the court. The pair will be available at $200.

The KD7 was inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge. The shoe has a platinum upper, drawn from the steel-wire suspensions that bring strength and beauty to the bridge. The shoe also has crimson and blue accents with an icy blue outsole, hyperposite heel and Zoom Air cushioning. The sneaker will retail at $170.

Nike.com reported that the Kyrie 1 in the Zoom City Collection was inspired by the City Hall Subway Station. The shoe has a platinum and grey upper and an icy purple and blue outsole. The shoe's colorway is suggestive of the subway's speed, which can be compared to Kyrie's quickness on the court. The shoe will retail at $130.

The same TruthAndFellowship report revealed that there will also be New York City-inspired colorways for the Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015 and Nike Zoom Run The One. The HyperRev will retail at $150.

The Nike Basketball Zoom City Collection will officially debut on the All-Star Weekend. Interested fans can get a pair at Nike.com and selected Nike retail outlets.
