After more than 30 years of marriage, actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are calling it quits.

Entertainment Tonight was the first to report the Hollywood breakup via the couple's rep Stan Rosenfield.

DeVito has been silent on his Twitter page, the only update, from Oct. 5, being of him sitting ocean side.

The LA Times says the couple met and moved in together while working on Broadway in the early 80s.

They married 1982 and had their first child not long after that. They worked together on the sitcom Taxi, and appeared onscreen as husband and wife in the DeVito-directed Matilda. They also own Jersey Films, a production company that has produced films such as Pulp Fiction and Erin Brockovich. They have three children together-Lucy, 29, Grace, 27, and Jacob, 24.

DeVito's last film role was a voice in The Lorax. He is currently starring in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FX. Perlman has been in a string of small films over the years, her last role being Mavis in the 2012 film The Stupidest Angel. She later became known for her role as Carla Tortelli on Cheers, for which she won four Emmy awards.

The couple's rep said no further comment would be made on the split.
