The Sims Studio and Maxis have revealed a brand new expansion pack for their life simulation video game "The Sims 4" and with it comes brand new playable jobs, a new retail business and maybe even aliens, Game Spot reported.

"The Sims 4" was originally released in September 2014 Microsoft Windows, with a version for the Mac set to come out on Feb. 17. It has sold over 1.10 million copies and the developers are hard at work to add something new to their legion of Sims fans, this time coming up with a new "Get to Work" expansion pack.

"The Sims" announced the first expansion pack on their official website, stating "Time for your Sims to get to work!"

"With three brand new active careers, each complete with a new fully playable career venue, there are plenty of ways for you to fulfill your Sims' ambitions," the post read. "You can even create your Sim's own retail business, taking advantage of your Sims' skills and hobbies and earn those Simoleons."

Players can now choose between four jobs. They can help their Sims become a doctor, who spends their days treating patients, performing surgeries and saving lives, and possibly even deliver babies.

They can also become a police detective, working their way up from a Cadet to the Chief of Police as they fight and investigate crime and arrest criminals.

They can even choose to be a scientist if they want to invent things, collect specimens, and create weapons that they can use to either help or torment the other Sims.

Lastly, they can choose to be an entrepreneur and create their own business, such as clothing stores, bookstores, bakeries, art galleries, and more. A Build Mode is even available to help them customize their businesses.

There are also new venues, such as the Hospital, Police Station, Science Lab and various retail businesses, according to Kotaku. The Sims can also learn new skills and get new items, such as the Photography Skills, which has the Sim learning to take perfect photos, and the Baking Skill to teach them how to bake and decorate treats that can be sold for Simoleons.

Not only that, but aliens have also landed on the Sims world and it's up to the player and their Sims to discover these trespassers and their mysterious Alien dimension.

The base game "The Sims 4" is available for the Mac and PC at $60. The "Get to Work" expansion pack is set to come out for both the Mac and PC sometime in April for a price of $39.99.
