Mitt Romney's running mate Paul Ryan is preparing for his first debate of the 2012 election season against Joe Biden.

Biden has confirmed that he's focused on stating accurate facts and information against Wisconsin Congressman Ryan when they debate next Thursday.

Thursday's debate will be the first and only vice-presidential debate for 2012. The debate will be Biden's second vice-presidential debate, the first was against Sarah Palin in 2008.

Following the first Romney-Obama debate last Wednesday, The Washington Post reported Ryan was "over the moon" about Romney's performance.

"I told him after the debate that he crushed it," he told the Weekly Standard.

He added, "I told him how proud I was, how wonderful his performance was, how presidential he was, how I was excited that people got to know the man I know."

Ryan did share a comment Romney said to the congressman regarding the upcoming debate against Biden.

"I expect the vice president to come at me like a cannonball," Ryan said.

During an interview with Bloomberg TV about the upcoming debate, Ryan stated he'd offer alternatives to what Obama and Biden plan to offer if they are reelected.

"What I plan on doing is offering our alternatives, showing what we believe, how we're going to do things differently so the country has a very clear choice to make," said Ryan.

Reports circulated Ryan preparing for three days in Virginia for his debate.

The Biden-Ryan debate is next Thurs., Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. ET from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

As Latinos Post reported, the theme for the debate will be both domestic and foreign policy. ABC News' Martha Raddatz will moderate.
