Those of us in the United States have to wait a little bit longer to get our smartphones. Other than the iPhone 5, almost every other major smartphone releases in international markets first, before hitting U.S. carriers. Luckily, we don't get left in the dust too often - the HTC One X+ is coming, and it's coming to AT&T.

A couple days ago, AT&T announced that it will be offering three new HTC devices soon: the HTC One X+, the HTC One VX, and the HTC Windows Phone 8X.

The HTC One X+ is sure to be the most demanded by AT&T customers, not just because its predecessor, the HTC One X is one of the best Android phones around, but also because the One X+ is a technical beast.

"The HTC One X+ will be one of the first AT&T smartphones to combine Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and a quad-core processor. It will also be the first smartphone in the U.S. to feature HTC Sense 4+," says AT&T in a press release.

Not only will it have 4G LTE, but the HTC One X+ sports a 1.7GHz quad-core quad-core processor along with a unique " battery-saving fifth core." It will also come with an increased 64GB of memory. The improved specs should make it 67 percent better than the original One X, according to HTC.

It comes with the same 4.7-inch screen size as the One X. The One X+ will also have an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera.

For you audiophiles out there, the HTC One X+ will feature Beats audio.

The HTC One X+ may not be as high profile as the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, or the Apple iPhone 5, but if the One X+ is anything like the One X, then expect HTC's handset to woo customers through its performance.
