The victory of Roman Reigns at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble has left a lot of ends open, which will pave the way for new storylines at the pilot Fast Lane pay-per-view episode on February 22.

Bleacher Report wrote that Bray Wyatt is expected to do well, considering his previous performances. The Eater of Worlds is slated to fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31, so he will have to cement his dominance as a viable contender to defeat The Deadman at the big event. Wyatt was great at Royal Rumble, having eliminated six WWE superstars and staying in the ring for almost one hour before being thrown off. His role in Fast Lane will expectedly get bigger.

As for Daniel Bryan, WrestlingInc reported that although there were previous plans of pitting Bryan against Sheamus for WrestleMania 31, it seemed like the WWE has changed its plans and will opt for Bryan versus Zig Ziggler instead. Bryan was eliminated early at Royal Rumble which disappointed several fans, but he is expected to make a comeback soon. He might fight Kane, with a condition that Kane loses his job in the event of a loss or Bryan can rescue Sting from an attack by The Authority.

WrestleZone reported that Triple H called out Sting to face him at WWE Fast Lane. Sting was last seen at The Survivor Series in 2014 then on Monday Night Raw on January 19, 2015 to help John Cena win. A lot of bad blood is brewing between Triple H and Fast Lane will be the place where they will collide. Sting will most likely have a backup or his signature baseball bat ready.

Sting will stay out of the WWE scene until Fast Lane, based on an article by WhatCulture. Keeping the superstar away from the eyes of the crowd will make his appearance more meaningful. His presence at Fast Lane will be appreciated, considering that Brock Lesnar will not be there.

Bleacher Report also wrote that John Cena and Rusev will battle at Fast Lane, with the latter winning the match. Rusev has been built as a very powerful force that cannot be stopped, even by Cena. Rusev also performed well at Royal Rumble, finishing second to Reigns. Although Cena might still prove to be the only man who can pin Rusev, it is more expected that he will continue to be dominant after the first episode of Fast Lane.
