Comparisons between celebrities is the norm in Hollywood and this time it's actress Anne Hathaway facing off against Lebanese-British lawyer, activist and author Amal Alamuddin, a.k.a. Amal Clooney, Refinery29 reported.

During an interview with Extra, the "Les Miserables" actress was asked about what it was like to be compared with Alamuddin, the human rights attorney who recently wed actor George Clooney. After all, both women sport dark hair, bright smiles and a perfect set of eyebrows.

While some might be looking for a cat fight or a face off, Hathaway was nothing if not gracious when she was asked about how she felt when some said she bears "a resemblance to the striking Amal Clooney," according to Huffington Post.

Hathaway took it as a compliment, expressing that she was nothing but flattered.

"I've never heard that. Thank you," she said. "That's like so gonna be the best thing to happen to me today."

She added, "I hope that I become half the woman she is. She's so accomplished and it's so thrilling to look at someone and be like, 'Wow, you really are making the world a better place'," the actress gushed.

Alamuddin is an accomplished attorney for a London-based firm and has been representing Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, since 2011 in his fight against extradition from Sweden. She is also an advisor to Special Envoy Ghanian diplomat Kofi Annan, has been appointed several positions in the United Nations and is one of the advisers of Greece in its efforts to reclaim the Elgin Marbles from the British Museum, according to Huffington Post.

Hathaway has the right idea though, since it's not a bad deal to be compared to a woman with achievements such as Alamuddin's.

Fans can also check out the video of her interview with "Extra," which shows the actress's reaction and bright smile.

Prior to the interview with "Extra," Hathaway has been hard at work promoting her new film "Song One," and she has a few things to say about the world and about actresses, according to Entertainment Tonight.

In the film, Hathaway plays Franny, a Ph.D. candidate who learns her brother is in a coma and returns home. She ends up being involved with her brother's favorite musician.

"For me, this movie is about a girl getting out of her own way and getting out of her own head," she said. "I was in the very early stages of that journey in my own life. It's not like the world has gotten nicer since 2013."

She also expressed how difficult the industry is for actresses, adding, "It would be so great if there were just this magic land full of amazing parts for women. There are so many more incredible actresses than there are incredible parts."
