"Zombieland" and "The Social Network" actor Jesse Eisenberg admitted that he would love to play Lex Luthor again in future "Superman" movies. Variety reported that they were able to speak with the actor by phone last week while he was in London for the shooting of the "Now You See Me: The Second Act."

When Variety asked Eisenberg if he would like to reprise his role as Lex Luthor, Superman's nemesis, the actor said, "I would love to. It's a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play."

The actor also revealed that he was actually never a fan of Superman and that he never watched the movies when he was still young. "No. I never minded him," he was quoted as saying. Eisenberg said that he only watched the Superman movies lately just to understand the context of the movie he is now part of.

The reports of Eisenberg playing Lex Luthor in the upcoming "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie started when he was spotted with a shaved head. However, it is not yet clear whether the actor really shaved his head for that particular role. When Variety tried to ask Eisenberg about this, the actor refused to comment and say anything about it as "they want all this to be a surprise."

Meanwhile, Henry Cavill, who plays the role of Superman in the movie, earlier assured fans that the movie will be a good one. In his interview with the Daily Mail (via Coming Soon) during the recent British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Tea Party., he said that since the movie is directed by Zack Snyder, it is expected that the movie will be a "visual spectacle" and a "cinematic history." He also said he expects it to be "exciting."

Speaking of reprising role in possible sequels, Cavill also revealed in an interview with The Anglophile Channel that he would love to play the role of Superman over and over. "As many as it takes! I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come," to quote him.

Here's the actual video footage:

Aside from Cavill and Eisenberg, the movie cast list also includes Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher. The movie is written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. It will reportedly hit theaters on March 25, 2016. Catch the movie's trailer this February
