The series of debates which may determine the next president of the United States will commence on Wednesday, October 3 at 9:00-10:30pm EDT. All of the upcoming policy-defining rhetorical firestorms will be streamed live on Youtube's 2012 Election page, and air on NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC, CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC, and Fox News. Readers will find an outline of the air time, topics, and participants of each debate below.

October 3 Debate

From 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. EDT, President Obama and GOP candidate Mitt Romney will discuss Domestic policy at the University of Denver, moderated by NewsHour host Jim Lehrer. The debate will be chopped up into six 15 minute portions, during which each candidate will have a maximum of two minutes to make their argument.

October 11 Debate

From 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. EDT, Vice President Joe Biden and GOP VP candidate Paul Ryan will discuss Foreign and Domestic policy at Center College, moderated by ABC News Correspondent Martha Raddatz. The debate is sliced into nine 10 minute segments, with the two minute rule still presiding.

October 16 Debate

From 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. EDT, President Barack Obama and Governor Romney will discuss Foreign and Domestic policy at Hofstra University, moderated by CNN correspondent Candy Crowley. This debate will take on a Town meeting format and the Gallup organization will fill the audience with undecided voters.

October 22 Debate

From 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. EDT, President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will discuss Foreign policy at Lynn University, moderated by Face of the Nation host Bob Scieffer. The debate is separated into nine 10 minute segments, just like the October 11 debate. Naturally, the two minute rule remains in effect.
