A new teaser trailer for the season 5 of the hit zombie TV series "The Walking Dead" has been unveiled by AMC. Watch it here:

The new trailer which was uploaded on YouTube a few weeks before the series returns on air this February 8 has so far earned over 2.1 million views and 12,000 likes.

In the video we see main protagonist Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, and the other survivors as they step into another adventure in the forest where only uncertainty is permanent. The gang gears up with rifles, shotguns, and other weapons as they continue and struggle for survival.

We get to see other characters such as Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Tyreese Williams (Chad Coleman), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Sergeant Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), Tara (Alanna Masterson), and Rosita (Christian Serratos) as they prepare, aim, and shoot for something that might happen or for someone that might come along the way. Rick's children Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Judith or the "Little Asskicker" (Charlotte and Clara Ward) were not included in the new trailer.

We also hear Rick say the words, "Surviving together is all that matters." Trying to emphasize, he again repeats it, "It's all that matters." That pretty much sums up the new video clip unveiled to give fans a glimpse of what may happen in the remaining episodes of the series. At least, one thing's for sure, the gang will do their best to continue to survive while keeping themselves intact and together.

The Daily Mail said that this is the "first time" that the gang will be left in the woods with no shelter at all.

Earlier, we heard the series' executive producer Scott Gimple revealing some details on the remaining episodes. Gimple said that the remaining eight episodes of the series was created with "an interesting structure filled with many emotional and crazy moments." He also teased fans that a "huge change" on the characters' situation is bound to happen.

Meanwhile, another executive producer of the show, Denise Huth, said the next episodes of the series will be "darker" and "emotionally heavy." Huth also said that the next scenes will highlight the "humanity of the characters." They will ask who gets to live and why these people have to live and they will also continue to look for ways on how they can pursue life amid deaths and affliction. Some of the cast and show's writers were also cited describing the series' season 5 as "explosive," "messy," "brutal" and "thrilling."

In the midseason finale episode, we saw Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) die. Due to her death, it is speculated that most of the characters, especially Maggie (her sister) and Daryl, continue to grieve. Daily Mail meanwhile sees this as a chance for a romantic relationship between Daryl and Carol.

Watch out for the come back of "The Walking Dead" on AMC on Sunday, February 8. Here's another trailer for you to watch:
