Will the trailer of the new "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie officially be released next month?
Cinema Blend reported that the first video footage from the much-awaited movie is set to be unveiled during the Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis film "Jupiter Ascending" this February 6, citing the table provided by The Projection List which claimed that the details are not yet final and official. Warner Bros. has yet to confirm the reports.
The report added that a teaser trailer for the film is also expected to be screened in other films like "In the Heart of the Sea," "Furious 7," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and "Mad Max: Fury Road."
The upcoming film is believed to be closely related to Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns." It is also believed that Lois Lane, Clark Kent's love interest, will have a big part in the movie, as teased by Amy Adams in some interviews. Last December, it has been reported that the trailer of the movie was leaked online. Although the video allegedly uploaded on 4chan can no longer be found in the Internet, Movie Pilot gave a glimpse of what has been seen in the leaked trailer. It said that the video starts with a scene from the "Man of Steel" wherein it showed the destruction that took place in the metropolis. It noted that it was Batman or Bruce Wayne, which is played by Ben Affleck, who narrates in the video. Batman airs his doubts on the intentions of Superman, played by Henry Cavill. He then promises to find out if Superman is there to save or destroy people.
Movie Pilot says that it is possible that the trailer will be released this March. Meanwhile, it was earlier believed that the movie's trailer will be released in December but it obviously did not happen. That report also claimed that the teaser has already been completed in October.
The movie has already finished filming, according to the posts of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder and cinematographer Larry Fong.
Aside from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, the movie cast list also includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher. Amy Adams will play the role of Lois Lane while Jason Momoa will be Arthur Curry and Aquaman. Jesse Eisenberg, on the other hand, will play the role of Lex Luthor. "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. It will theaters on March 25, 2016.
