'Batman vs Superman' Release Date, Cast & Trailer: Amy Adams Says Lois Lane Is The 'Key'

It seems that "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" fans have to watch out for Lois Lane's big role in the movie.

According to the International Business Times, Amy Adams, who plays the role of Lois Lane, Superman's love interest, somewhat revealed in several interviews that she has a "significant" role in the upcoming movie.

The report cited Adams' interview with Moviefone wherein she divulged that fans have to watch out for her scenes with Batman/Bruce Wayne which is played by Ben Affleck. She described Ben as "hot" and "fantastic." She also said that she thinks that their scenes will be great as the both of them did well.

In another interview with Collider, Adams stressed the importance of her role, teasing fans of what may happen in the movie. "Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know? She's the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she's very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know? So to speak... They're awesome together. It's kind of like this big fest of muscles ... it was really kind of nice. And then you add Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot and I felt very short and, yeah," to quote Adams.

Cinema Blend said that Adams' remarks may suggest that Lois who is an investigative journalist may possibly discover Batman's true identity by herself.

"Given that Lois is one of the best investigative journalists in the DC universe, part of me hopes that if she learns in the film Bruce Wayne and Batman are same, she figures it out herself as opposed to discovering it accidentally. Adams already mentioned that Lois will be the 'key to the information' in the film, so maybe during the course of one of her investigations, she realizes that the vigilante showed up in Metropolis at the same time that billionaire industrialist Bruce Wayne did, and puts the pieces together. Coincidence? I think not!," Cinema Blend's Adam Holmes wrote.

Earlier this week, it has been reported that the movie's trailer has leaked online via 4chan. However, the alleged leaked trailer cannot be seen anywhere on the Internet. The rumored trailer features Batman or Bruce Wayne questioning the intentions of Superman, played by Henry Cavill, following the destruction that happened in the metropolis as seen in the "Man of Steel" movie.

The movie has already finished filming, according to the posts of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder and cinematographer Larry Fong.

The movie cast list also includes Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher, Screen Rant said. Jason Momoa is allegedly playing the role of Arthur Curry and Aquaman while Jesse Eisenberg is said to be Lex Luthor. "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. It will hit the theaters on March 25, 2016.
