It seems that HTC is now gearing up to compete with other Android phone companies.

Rumors are suggesting that the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer will release at least three smartphones and a smartwatch next year. According to Deccan Chronicle, these three phones are the HTC One M9, HTC Hima Ace, and the HTC Hima Ultra.

The one who leaked the alleged HTC One M9 was Upleaks. This month, it posted a series of tweets which allegedly points to a new HTC flagship device, which it called HTC Hima, soon to hit the market.

On December 3, it announced the specs of the rumored new device on Twitter. However, it provided clearer and updated specs on its official website on December 22.

Here is what the new HTC device will allegedly have:

Upleaks said it will have Snapdragon 810 2.0GHz Quad-core + 1.5GHz Quad-core as its processor and it will have a 5-inch display with FHD resolution. It will get a 13 megapixel or 4MP UltraPixel front camera and a 20.7 megapixel main camera.

Its dimensions are 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.56 mm. It will get 3 GB RAM and a 2840mAh battery. Aside from these, it will also support VoLTE (Voice Over LTE), Carrier Aggrication, and LTE category 6. It will also get the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update and the Sense 7.0.

The post also says that the new device will be available in four colors: gray, silver, gold, and gunmetal gold. It also revealed that the device will likely be launched in March 2015.

As for the Hima Ace, Upleaks said that it "looks like a more affordable edition of Hima." It added that it will be "going to China market with Dual-SIM support at least."

Little has been known about the Hima Ultra. Upleaks, in another tweet dated December 17, said Hima Ultra devices, which will be released in China, will likely be powered by MTK chipset. The same goes for the Hima Ace. Deccan Chronicle said that the Hima Ultra might have a 5-inch full HD 1080p display.

On a related note, Mobile Burn reported that a smartwatch will likely be launched alongside the new smartphones.

The report noted that the watch, which was supposedly set to be released this year, did not push through as it was not yet ready. "We had originally planned to have a wearable launch in this time frame...It ended up just not being ready," HTC's Jason Mackenzie was quoted in the report.

But Mobile Burn's unnamed source said that the watch is finally ready after months of developing. The source said that the watch will likely be made of stainless steel. It will have a square face and will run Android Wear.

"We've seen a lot of general purpose wearables come to market...There's not a strong reason to wear one every day. When we come to market with our product we want to make sure the product has a strong point of view and there is a really compelling reason to strap it on your wrist," Drew Bamford, head of HTC's future wearables team, was quoted by Mobile Burn.

HTC has yet to release an announcement which can confirm these rumors.
