More Samsung users will soon get a taste of the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

According to Android Geeks, Samsung's Galaxy S5 LTE-A devices will soon receive the new Android update. It also revealed that it will skip the Android 5.0 update and will go straight ahead to the new Android 5.0.1.

It even cited an exclusive video from Sam Mobile showing the Lollipop update running on the Galaxy S5 LTE-A device.

Sam Mobile said that the Galaxy S5 LTE-A is quite limited and "exclusive" to the Korean market. However, it noted that it is the first Samsung phone to get a Quad HD display and Snapdragon 805 processor. It is also the first Samsung device that has been tested with the new Android 5.0.1 on.

"As far as features and changes are concerned, we are looking at pretty much the same stuff that we saw on the Galaxy Note 3, Note 4, S4 and S5...The build we're running works quite well and is very fluid, with the latter probably a result of that powerful Snapdragon 805 processor ticking away inside in addition to the default optimization in Android 5.0," Sam Mobile said.

Since the tests have already been made, Sam Mobile predicts that the update will soon hit the devices in the "coming weeks."

Two other Samsung devices will also be getting the same update soon. These are Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, Android Geeks said. It also cited exclusive videos from Sam Mobile showing the Lollipop update on the two devices.

Android Geeks said that no major changes or updates have been eyed in the two devices but some new features might surprise users. It noted that the multi-user has been missing on the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge.

Another report from Sam Mobile said the two devices might skip the Android 5.0 Lollipop and just directly get the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop just like the Galaxy S5 LTE-A.

"Android 5.0.1 isn't a very huge upgrade over 5.0, but the 5.0.1 builds have a couple of new features, such as slow and fast motion video recording, and also fixes multiple bugs. The builds aren't fully finished... This suggest Samsung still has some work left to do, but given the pace at which the company has been making improvements in these early firmware..." Sam Mobile said. It predicts that the update will roll out on these two devices "next month."

Meanwhile, International Business Times said that most of Samsung's smartphones are expected to get the Lollipop update next year. This year, the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Poland and the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition have finally received the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
