The production company of Zack Snyder, director of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" has released the first official color photo of Ben Affleck in a batsuit standing next to a Batmobile, reports Comicbook.com.
To the ordinary viewers, the color photo still seems black and white since black is the dominant color in the batsuit and the Batmobile. The color, however, actually comes at the lower face of Batman as well as the batsuit itself, where hues of flesh and grey become more evident.
Before the first official color photo, Snyder has previously released an official monochrome version of the same picture, which had fans making their own various color renditions and showing it off in the internet, cites Comicsbook.com.
The colored photo can be found in the motion picture section of Snyder's Cruel and Unusual Films website as a monochrome photo. "But when you hover over the photo, it reveals the color version," adds the report.
While it did generate a new round of excitement among movie fans, Flickering Myth says the first official color photo is pretty much expected.
"Now we know exactly what colour scheme they've gone with and how it stacks up with the previous all-black version we've all seen on the big screen in the past," the site noted.
Over the weekend, Snyder reported that the movie has completed its filming in New Mexico and that production cost over $13 million.
"The production estimates that they spent more than $13 million in the New Mexico economy, on everything from local construction hires to lumber and catering supplies," reports KVIA.
Principal photography for the film was completed in New Mexico, which came after shooting stints in Michigan and Illinois. Film production budget is estimated at $131 million that necessitated the hiring of about 200 locals, added the report.

Apart from Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the other cast members of the movie include Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jessa Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and many others.
