"Rihanna is plotting a huge comeback."
It has earlier been reported that the "Umbrella" singer is set to release her eighth album soon. To date, there are still no details about this.
However, Gigwise reported that Rihanna is set to have some "gigs" in the United Kingdom which includes two "massive dates" at the Wembley Stadium.
Gigwise's report cited Sun's source saying, "Rihanna is plotting a huge comeback. So far she has two shows at Wembley pencilled in as well as other stadiums across Europe."
One of those giving hints about Rihanna's album is DJ Skee, who according to Gigwise earlier said that Rihanna's new album is a project "a lot closer than anyone realised, including her own record label." It also quoted him saying, "She's trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter." He also revealed that one of the songs will be entitled "I've Been Searching for Something to Ignite Me When I'm Alone."
However, Rihanna took to Twitter to respond to these speculations. On November 26, the singer posted, "ANY news about #R8 will be delivered directly from me!!!!"
She also posted on Instagram a teaser for her upcoming album. She captioned it, "phuckin roun in da studio." Here is the video she uploaded:
The post has already earned over 219,000 likes as of press time.

Rap Up citing Entertainment Tonight reported that the project called "R8" will arrive "very soon."
It was earlier speculated that Rihanna's new album will be called "Lost Files," according to a blurry image uploaded by website Envy the DJ. The image allegedly shows the name of the alleged new album and the list of the tracks that would be included in the album.
The leaked photo showed that the upcoming album will be named "Lost Files." But it was showed in the leaked photo that the album is still "subject to revision." It also showed that the new album would be under record label Def Jam Recordings, SRP Music Group, and Roc Nation Recordings. It also noted that the new album will be unveiled through a press release to be issued on November 4 this year but the official release date will be on the 25th of November. This release date obviously did not push through. This may also pose questions about the authenticity of this leaked image.
However, the leaked photo showed that the track list will be composed of 14 songs. The titles of the songs are "Bold," "Trouble," "Ain't No Drama," "Barz," "A Drug and A Dream," "All Night," "Lovin, Fallin, Dyin," "Tattered Heart," "Real Talk," "Hall of Flames," "Pray 4 Life," "Oceans," "Veins," and "Lost Files."
It was also revealed in the photo that some of the songs will be in collaboration with rappers Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Eminem.
