WWE superstars are reportedly holding a grudge against Triple H and the McMahons after retired wrestler CM Punk made shocking statements about the real reason why he was fired by the organization.

According to Fansided.com, CM Punk appeared on the Colt Cabana podcast "Art of Wrestling" at the end of November 2014. He revealed unpleasant details about how the WWE was operated by the McMahons and Triple H.

In a report by Zap2It.com, CM Punk, who is a former WWE champion, shared that the WWE did not care about his health as a wrestler and compelled him to fight in the ring despite lack of sufficient time to recover from prior injuries. He added that he will never go back to the WWE.

After they also heard CM Punk's stories via the podcast, WWE talent were reportedly avoiding both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon during RAW on December 1, 2014, held in Tulsa. PW Mania reported that the atmosphere backstage was very tense, according to one Reddit user, MetsFans4Ever. Allegedly, the wrestlers seemed to believe what CM Punk had to say and grew angry at Triple H and the company owners. There was reportedly a closed-door meeting that followed between HHH, Vince McMahon and daughter Stephanie McMahon.

In another article by Zap2It.com, Vince McMahon sat down with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for a live podcast interview, which particularly included CM Punk as a topic of conversation. McMahon initially apologized to CM Punk that he fired him on his wedding day. Punk is married to A.J. Lee, who is in the current WWE diva roster. McMahon told Austin during the interview, "Punk got his severance papers moreover on the day he got married and that was coincidence and I want to apologize for that."

In the same report by Zap2It.com, Vince McMahon alleged that there was lack of communication between them and Punk. He said that he believed that Punk lacked communication skills and described the former WWE champion as a loner.

Although there is an existing conflict between the parties, McMahon continued to say that he is confident that they will eventually make amends and even work together in the future, in the same manner that former stars like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and Steve Austin walked out from the organization and returned subsequently.

CM Punk is still set to appear for a second time on "Art of Wrestling" to answer fan questions based on his first interview and possibly provide a rebuttal to Vince McMahon's interview.
