Excited for the upcoming "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron"? Then here are some latest updates about the much-awaited movie.

According to the Daily Mail, the cast of the movie will "quietly" go back to London in January to shoot "some extra scenes." However, it also said that the reshoot will not necessarily mean that the whole cast and crew need to fly back to UK.

The report noted that the main cast which includes Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hiddleston has already been informed that they have to free their schedules for at least two weeks this January for the reshoot at Pinewood Studios.

Baz Bamigboye said that the fans' expectations might have pressured the movie's executives to push more and to improve the upcoming film more. "I understand that, as with the James Bond films, 'Age Of Ultron' - the second Avengers movie - needs a bit more kick-ass on an extravagant scale. The 'Avengers' movies and their spin-offs have become box office diamond dust. Audiences cram into cinemas to see them - but they also demand that the action in each new film be more spectacular than the last," the gossip columnist said in his Daily Mail report.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is again directed by American director and screenwriter Joss Whedon. Variety said that the first "Avengers" film is the "third highest-grossing film of all-time" after earning $1.5 billion in 2012.

According to Marvel, the sequel will again feature original cast members -- Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Paul Bettany will portray the role of The Vision, Tom Hiddleston as the villain Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, and James Spader as Ultron, it added. There are also newcomers -- Aaron Johnson as "Kick Ass" and Elizabeth Olsen as Quicksilver and The Scarlett Witch.

Marvel Studios said the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie is the epic follow-up to the "biggest Super Hero movie of all time."

"When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure," the plot summary posted on Marvel's website read.

In the new movie, the team will reassemble to defeat the villain Ultron. They also have to confront Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron," which is based on the Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," was first published in 1963. It will hit theaters in May.
