People who are looking to purchase a brand new PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can look forward to Black Friday 2014 to get the lowest prices.

In a report by Forbes.com, Microsoft has been giving sporadic discounts to buyers every now and then but Black Friday will prove to offer the cheapest rates for the video game console. For Christmas season, the retail price of the Xbox One is $349. A few bundles will be available at Target and Walmart, further slashing prices for customers. "The Assassin's Creed" Bundle will retail at $329, which features both "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag". Players who avail of their Target Gift Card worth $50 can purchase the Xbox One and three games for $329 only. Yahoo! posted that the Xbox One Armed Forces Wireless Controller will be sold at $49.99 from $64.99.

In the same Forbes.com report, people who buy at Walmart and avail of the "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will get the console, one free game of their choice, and an Xbox Live subscription for 12 months. Gamers who purchase straight from the Microsoft store will save $70 on the console whether or not they purchase Kinect. They also get either "Titanfall", "Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" or "Forza Motorsport 5" free of charge.

As for PlayStation 4 enthusiasts, they will not enjoy the same big discounts as the Xbox One. At Walmart, a bundle with the console and "The Last of Us Remastered" and "Grand Theft Auto V" will be available at a retail price of $399.99. The same bundle will be offered at GameStop, Toys R' Us and Best Buy. At the same price, gamers might opt for the "Littlebigplanet" and "Lego Batman 3" bundle at Toys R' Us. Those who want to pick their own games for PS4 can pay $449 for the bundle at Walmart.

Polygon.com reported that Walmart, Toys R' Us and Best Buy will begin offering the slashed rates starting November 27 and will continue to run the promo until November 29. GameStop will start their cheaper price offers on November 28 and end on November 30.

Polygon also added that cheaper PlayStation 4 games will also be available at Best Buy. "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls", "NBA 2K15", "FIFA 15", "Madden 15" and "Watch Dogs" will be sold at $29.99 each. "Call of Duty: Ghosts", "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition", "MLB 14" and "Killzone: Shadow Fall" will sell at $19.99 each. At GameStop, "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" will retail at $29.99. At the PS Store, over 30 titles will give discounts up to 65 percent while PS Plus members can enjoy up to 80 percent discounts.
