Nobody can accuse Nicki Minaj for being shy about her body - the rapper is known for being raunchy after all. But she recently took to Instagram some behind-the-scenes photos from her new music video called "Only," captioning it, "On set of the ONLY video," following with a tease about her upcoming album, "#ONLYVideo will be out soon. The Pinkprint arrives on 12.15.14."

As expected from her photos, E! Online reports that Nicki is nearly naked in a sheer black number and sky-high heels that emphasized her curves, the only thing keeping her from showing her private parts is a pair of black underwear.

Nicki's costume, although revealing, did bring another iconic singer to mind. The Daily Mail noted that Nicki's outfit for "Only" looks eerily similar to Cher's iconic costume for her performance of Turn Back Time back in 1989.

Photos of Nicki showed her in various poses with scantily clad backup dancers, as well as snaps with fellow rappers, Drake and Lil Wayne, who are featured in the song. Not featured in the photos with her, however, is another artist that she's collaborating with, Chris Brown.

Her outrageous costume may be what's distracting the critics from the lyric video with which she was under fire for last week. The controversial work featured images that are reminiscent of Adolf Hitler's Nazi propaganda over Germany. The rapper later on apologized, saying, "I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art."

Although the rapper was willing to take full responsibility for the controversial video, her director refused to do so, posting on MySpace, as reported by Entertainment Tonight, "First, I'm not apologizing for my work, nor will I dodge the immediate question. The flags, armbands, and gas mask (and perhaps my use of symmetry?) are all representative of Nazism."

He went on to say, "I think it's actually important to remind younger generations of atrocities that occurred in the past as a way to prevent them from happening in the future," he said. "And the most effective way of connecting people today is through social media and pop culture. So if my work is misinterpreted because it's not a sappy tearjerker, sorry I'm not sorry. What else is trending?"

Hopefully, Nicki has learned from the major faux pas in the "Only" lyric video - but let's wait and see what she has in store for the official music video with Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown, which is arriving with her new album on December 15.
