One of the most essential elements in the pre-production of a new James Bond movie is to determine who would play the villain opposite Agent 007.

The bad guys in past Bond movies have played important and meaty roles so much so that they actually defined the character and grit of Agent 007 in the series.

As much as every Bond girl gets due recognition, every villain also gets the appreciation of name recall from movie fans.

Although official film production for the 24th installment of the James Bond movie franchise has yet to begin, a playdate of November 6, 2015 has already been set for it, reports Enstarz.

The movie also has yet to come up with an official title but some of the ideas being floated include: "Shatterhand," "Death is So Permanent" and "Risico," which are all titles of Ian Fleming's books, disclosed the report.

Daniel Craig will play James Bond for the fourth time with Sam Mendes helming the movie. Barbara Brocollin and Michael G. Wilson will produce the film.

The Daily Mail has revealed that the next bad guy to Agent 007 will be played by two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.

"Waltz will play a significant role in the still untitled Bond 24 movie that will begin filming early next month. It's not immediately evident whether the part is a friend, a foe, or a bit of both. But someone in the production said that Waltz signed up for an 'extremely cunning, sort of nemesis' role, the report detailed.

Cinema Blend is also believes that Waltz will be the next villain to 007.

"What supports the theory that he is the new Bond villain is the fact that it (playing villain roles) is 90% of what he's been doing in Hollywood since dropping everyone's jaw with his performance in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds," opines the report.

Cast and Bond Girl

In addition to Waltz, the other cast members of James Bond 24 include Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux and Rory Kinnear.

For the role of Bond girl, Gulte reported that Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has been offered a role in the upcoming 007 flick.

Apparently, parts of the film will be shot in India and the producers want a local woman who's into sports for the part, cites the report.

Sania has been declining movie offers previously waiting to find a perfect role to get into the movie business. The Bond movie could be the one she's been waiting for, notes Gulte.

Since filming has yet to start, a trailer of James Bond 24 still has to be completed.
