It seems that every staple scene in films and shows that depict the caped crusader includes the death of the Waynes, and "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is no exception.

According to IGN.com, the film will show the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne, with the shooting to last until Thursday morning.

Website Batman-News has posted photos of the filming outside the Chicago set of the Aragon Theater with marquees showing the titles "Excalibur" and "The Mark of Zorro." Comic book fans would be quick to point out that in the pages, the young Bruce Wayne was taken to watch "The Mark of Zorro" on the night that his parents were murdered.

Although an iconic scene that shows the audience the Caped Crusader's origins, not everyone is happy about seeing the scene for the nth time. Screen Crush said, quite sarcastically, "Just as every new 'Spider-Man' franchise has to introduce Spidey's origins, so must every single piece of Batman fiction show us how his parents died and how this informed his life choices. And we were pretty sure that Batman's song 'The LEGO Movie' gave us the definitive, concise explanation of the Caped Crusader's origins."

With the inclusion of Zorro in the storyline, ComicBook.com raises questions on how much the film will focus on Batman and his origins. However, the website said that since most of the viewers are likely to be familiar with the Wayne murders at this point, it is likely that "Batman v Superman" will "briefly revisit the origin" by doing flashback scenes.

The Wayne murder scene is not the only thing that the film will touch on regarding Batman's story. According to the International Business Times, on-set images were also shown last month in a cemetery with the name "Wayne" shown prominently. That being said, the website wrote that even though Christopher Nolan has done a fantastic job on Batman's origins in his own trilogy, "Batman v Superman" will still have a fair share of retelling the night that made the Caped Crusader.

Do you think touching on the origins of Batman is too much for a film that's supposed to be about two superheroes?

Rumors suggest that the trailer will be out by December this year. An insider from website Batman-on-film.com suggests that the trailer may be shown during "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" on December 17. With the film still a long way off, that rumor still remains to be seen.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be released on March 25, 2016.
