Mike Tyson said that Floyd Mayweather should continue enjoying his hard-earned cash. According to TMZ.com, the former heavyweight champ was asked about what he thinks of Floyd's outrageous spending habits. He replied, "Have a ball!!!"

In a Yahoo! report, Mayweather has been criticized for dropping anywhere between $20,000 and $100,000 whenever he patronizes strip clubs and spending millions to purchase jewelry, watches, cars and jets. Mayweather previously showed off his giant winnings by betting millions of dollars on NFL teams, bringing in about $4 million in the process. Fans speculate that it would be impossible to rake in $72 million paychecks after he hangs up his boxing gloves.

Mike Tyson, however, thought otherwise. He advised the undefeated boxer to spend and enjoy all the cash he earned through the years. Tyson himself gained media attention when he went broke after earning over $300 million during his boxing years. Tyson was also known to throw dollars at parties, jewelry and cars before he was convicted at 25 years old and became penniless at 35, based on an article on Business2Community.com.

Mayweather, 37 years old, has been the highest-paid athlete twice in three years, becoming the second in history to earn over $100 million in a span of 12 months. In a Forbes report, Mayweather continues to generate the highest pay-per-view buys in the sport. He broke the record during his fight against Canelo Alvarez in 2013 with 2.2 million PPV buys and a record $150 million from PPV. The total fight revenues went close to $200 million. The undefeated boxer has an estimated net worth of $280 million.

Business Insider writes that Mayweather has a unique way of managing his cash. "Money" is known for carrying thick stacks of $100 bills, placed in Ziploc bags. He also has two fleets of luxury vehicles, one fleet is black while the other is white. He wears shoes only once and leaves them in his hotel room for the staff. He also wears boxers only once, spending $6,500 on these every year. He has a G5 private jet but his entourage takes a different jet.

Despite being the highest-paid athlete worldwide, Floyd does not earn anything from endorsements. He owns a promotions company, Mayweather Promotions, as well as an apparel company, The Money Team. He is currently signed with Showtime on a six-fight deal which is reportedly valued at $300 million. He previously said that he will retire from boxing when his contract expires.
