The next installment of the widely-anticipated "Game of Thrones" action role-playing video game will have a total of six episodes, reveals developer Telltale Games through its latest teaser, reports IGN.

Telltale released the fourth and latest teaser image from the latest installment of the successful video game franchise on November 10 that gave a glimpse of the game's environment and aesthetic settings, notes the report.

Prior to its fourth teaser, Telltale has released three cryptic teasers for "Game of Thrones" all with descriptive quotes from George R.R. Martin, whose epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is where the game was originally spun off.

Gamespot says that the latest Telltale teaser for "Game of Thrones" stands out from the rest because it already discloses the title of the first episode in the series, which is "Iron From Ice."

That's in addition to the fact that people shall automatically know that the new game shall have six episodes because of the phrase below the title 'Episode One of Six."

This will be the first time that Telltale has developed a six-episode game because its past franchises including "The Walking Dead" and "The Wolf Among Us" only had five episodes each, notes the report.

Telltale has also disclosed that the latest "Game of Thrones" installment will have five playable characters from the same family. And just like the gameplay of the earlier versions, the choices of the five characters shall have an impact on the family, details IGN.

"The new playable characters will add a new layer of things that we're really excited about the latest 'Games of Thrones'," says Steve Allison, senior vice president for publishing of Telltale Games.

While Telltale has yet to announce or mention any specific date for the release of the first episode of "Game of Thrones" or to what console platforms it would be made available to, Gamespot hinted that it could be released by the end of 2014.

"Since its announcement in December 2013, Telltale has kept its 'Game of Thrones' adventure game largely under wraps. Over the past two months (however), the developer has released various (cryptic) teases about the game's setting, but we have not yet heard much in the way of specifics," points out Gamespot.

Apart from "Game of Thrones," Telltale Games is also in the midst of work on "Tales from the Borderlands," which is a spinoff of its "Borderlands," and also the third season of "The Walking Dead" video game, cites the report.
