Marvel's multiple-movie announcement has succeeded in exciting comic book fans - and sparked a number of speculations about the casting and plots of the upcoming films.

"Black Panther," which will be showing in theaters November 3, 2017, will have Chadwick Boseman as the title character. And Robert Downey Jr. for an Iron Man cameo?

Those familiar with Black Panther's adventures would know that the superhero has close affiliations with The Avengers and repeatedly gets involved in a number of their missions. As such, it's only natural to speculate on Tony Stark's presence in the upcoming film. He has even rescued Iron Man in one of the Avengers' adventures.

CinemaBlend also noted that Tony Stark "needs to be a crucial part" of the 2017 flick.

"While Black Panther will probably feature a villain from his own rogues gallery (like Ulysses Klaw, who many fans suspect is being played by Andy Serkis in Age of Ultron), Tony needs to have an overarching presence in the film," the site analyzed. "Whether he's head of S.H.I.E.L.D. like in the comics or just the head of the United States' registration efforts, Tony will be leading the charge to make sure superhumans across the globe are properly supervised."

It can be recalled that Tony and the Black Panther, also known as T'Challa, are not on the same page when it comes to the Superhuman Registration Act. The said law intends "to register all super-powered beings as living weapons of mass destruction and requiring all costumed heroes to unmask themselves before the government and subject themselves to federally mandated standards," according to Marvel.com.

If the movie will touch on this aspect in Black Panther's timeline, which is actually one of the pivotal ones, we can expect to see Tony in the film.

"Tony could appear in Black Panther pleading for T'Challa to change his mind about registration, but the ruler refuses to change his mind," CinemaBlend continued to speculate. "Tony serves as reminder to the audience that while Black Panther is dealing with his own problems in Wakanda, the rest of the globe is dealing with the changing status quo among people with abilities."

The fact that the mega Marvel movie announcement had Robert, Chadwick, and "Captain America" star Chris Evans on hand and on stage together somehow hints that all three will be seen in "Black Panther" and "Captain America: Civil War." Which is probably the next best thing to having "Iron Man 4," which remains to be a non-event as we speak, despite earlier "semi-confirmations" by RDJ.
