Country music artist Blake Shelton recently talked about his marriage to fellow country music superstar Miranda Lambert - and also touched on the subject of divorce.
Are he and the "Automatic" singer divorcing?
According to Examiner, "The Voice" judge had said on the "60 Minutes" interview that he likes pretty girls. He made the statement "in reference to what he likes to sing about and pretty girls along with drinking are on the top of his list."
"Apparently the star wasn't just talking about Miranda Lambert as he referenced more than one girl, but who?" the site speculated.
This recent comment is just one of a number of things that adds fuel to the splitsville fire, which is why the divorce rumors refuse to die despite the couple's efforts in dismissing such talk.
The singer also talked about divorce - the one he had with his ex-wife, that is. Blake revealed that incident is one of the hardest things he had to go through.
"That was easily the toughest thing that I've ever been through. I put that, my divorce, up there with my brother's death, and that was a tough, tough call to make," he shared, as noted by E! News.Blake had met Miranda Lambert in 2005 while he was still married at the time to Kaynette Williams, whom he said "I do" to in 2003. He and his first wife later divorced in 2006, three years after they wed.
Miranda and Blake went on to develop a relationship and finally married in 2011.
"He and Lambert have now been married for 3 1/2 years-and have been the subject of trouble-in-paradise rumors for nearly as long," E! News added.
Will this marriage outlast the first one Blake had? Time will tell.
Additionally, Blake also spoke about why he and his famous wife will never do interviews together.
'We try so hard to keep people's focus on what we do and not our marriage," he began. "It's almost impossible to do that, and why open that door any further than it already is open by sitting down and doing interviews together rand giving every freakin' magazine out there a two-sentence quote that's turned into alien babies."
"There's no reason for us to do that," he continued. "We do interviews [separately], I love talking about her, I'll talk about her all day if you want to. But for her and I to sit here together, it's just going to turn into something about our marriage and it's all we got left that's private, is she and I and our home. And we just want to keep it that way."
Despite the pair keenly guarding their privacy, rumors of divorce still hound them.
However, Blake and Miranda continue to parry those rumors, with her saying that Blake is actually "impossible to fight with because he's always in a good mood," according to ET.
