One Direction New Album 'Four' Leaked? Download Not Available [Rumors]

English-Irish boy band One Direction became the latest victim of album leak on the internet, but in a weird albeit funny way.

Sources of leaked music online are normally people who have access to the recording, production, and sale of music tracks. But in the case of One Direction's latest album titled "Four," the leaker turned out to be a female fan who went to great lengths to take the video recordings of all the album's 12 tracks, reports J-14.

Take note, video, not audio recordings. Subsequently, the fan uploaded the series of video recordings on Vine.

As can be gleaned on the sketchy clips, it turns out that the videos were taken by the fan outside of a hotel room, notes Cambio.

According to the report, the fan was stalking 5 Seconds of Summer when she hears one of 5SOS' team listening to the album.

In describing the video recordings of the tracks on Vine, Cambio said: "It's a little bit crazy. As far as getting good sound quality while crouching outside of a hotel room, forget it! You can barely make out anything, but maybe it is One Direction's."

J-14 adds that the audio on the videos the female fan uploaded on Vine is incredibly faint, which make fans of the boy band question whether the songs are indeed from One Direction's upcoming album.

The 1D fan, however, is sure that it's the real deal. J-14 even reported that she even recounted her "stalking" experience on her Twitter where she apparently did some "sneaking through halls and randomly knocking on people's doors."

One Direction may have been spared from a true-blue album leak but one of the tracks on "Four" still came out in the internet one day before its official launch, cites J-14 in another report.

The report even hinted that Liam Payne, one of the members of 1D, may have been the source of the "Steal My Girl" leak on the internet.

The report quoted Payne on Twitter as he posted on a Sunday morning: "Can't sleep." He followed it shortly with another tweet that says: "Still no luck it's too hot."

Shortly thereafter, "Steal My Girl" was on the internet, one day ahead of its supposed first official play on Capital FM.

With the fan base of the boy band reaching a global scale, the leaked track became an instant hit and #StealMyGirlGotLeaked has been trending ever since, notes J-14.
