Halloween's just days away and the costume suggestions are starting to flood cybersphere these days. But what about the eats? Can't have a proper Halloween party without food.

Here's a few treats you can add to Friday's feast to make the occasion a tad more memorable and fun that last year:

Finger Sandwiches

You'll need sliced white bread sans the crusts, plus soft margarine, almonds, strawberry jam, and peanut butter or cream cheese. Easy peasy, right? You just flatten the bread with a rolling pin, spread some of the margarine and cream cheese or peanut butter on it, and roll the bread up individually to mimic the look of fingers, Parenting said. Then, cut the ends so they're V-shaped and top these tips with an almond dipped in some cream cheese so it sticks to the bread. The strawberry jam are then dropped by the dollop on the other end of each finger sandwich.

Pickled Brains

This makes a great appetizer that may fool your guests into thinking you're actually serving something humans don't normally consume. You'll need 2-3 cauliflower heads, white vinegar, red vinegar, and some spices to taste. And jars that look the part, as well as this recipe.

Eye-Scream

This is so easy you can probably do this in your sleep - or make you go, "Why didn't I thnk of that?" Anyway, what you need to do is get a plain white plate, put two scoops of ice cream (any flavor, although vanilla would mimic eyeballs best) positioned next to each other on the plate, and top each with one M&M (as the iris). Put a drop of black decorating gel on the M&M and drizzle strawberry syrup on the ice cream balls to get that bloody eye look. It's best to freeze the scooped ice cream balls for about 20 minutes before decorating them, Parenting said.

Brew with a Punch

Mimic the look of a witch's cauldron with a black plastic cauldron you can get at craft or party shops, dry ice, and a plastic hand. But instead of bubbling green goo for content, you'll have tasty, alcohol-laced drink that adults will love to dip into. Here's the recipe.

Shriveled Snack

Serve something that actually filling without the heavy feeling, messy aftermath, or deviation from the Halloween theme. Why don't you feed 'em with shriveled baby potatoes with romesco sauce? Here's the recipe for that.

In a Jiffy Snacks

You can peel an orange and put a stick of celery or some green biscuit into the middle to mimic the look of a pumpkin. Or you can peel a banana, cut it in half, stick small pieces of semi-sweet chocolate on the upper half of the banana to make eyes and a mouth, creating your very own banana ghost, as Mashable suggested.
