The Galaxy Note 4 appeared on Samsung's website subtly, and the according to a report from GSMArena, the Developer Edition is partnering with Verizon Wireless in the future, and it could be better than the iPhone 6 Plus.

The latest from Samsung boasts of a gorgeous 5.7-inch QHD display, with a beautiful resolution of 2,560 x 1,440. It also takes phablets another step further with its Super AMOLED technology with a beautiful display - crisp and vivid, with equally great contrast.

Besides the superior quality, Galaxy Note 4 comes with top of the line specifications that includes the quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and a long-lasting 3,220 mAh battery.

The Galaxy 4 also has a built-in fingerprint sensor of the home button, similar to the one on the Galaxy S5, but better. Not everyone would use it, but it's still comforting to know it's there for added security.

It also has a heart rate sensor located next to its LED flash, but best of all (for Instagram users) it has an excellent 16-megapixel camera. A surprising tidbit though is that International Business Times reported that the South Korean company has switched back to using the Sony IMX240 sensor.

The gadget also comes with a better S Pen function, which helps improve accuracy, making it a better gadget for busy bodies, with a menu that included the Action Memo, Screen Write, and Smart Select, as well as Image Clip.

As an added bonus, the Developer Edition is cheaper than the regular Galaxy Note 4, priced at $663.53, while the regular model is over $30 more expensive at $699.99 on Verizon.

But the AT&T version has an even more significant price difference, with the gadget priced at $825.00 without commitment.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Developer edition may be partnered with Verizon but there is no news yet if it will be available to other carriers, but with the partnership going, it GSM Arena seems to think that it will be exclusive to Big Red. Gotta be Mobile reports that it will be released on October 23, but that remains to be seen.

What do you think of Samsung newest gadget? Does it sound like it's going better than Apple's iPhone 6 Plus?
