News reports about the "GTA 5 Online" 1.18 update have kept the GTA community alive. Several rumors arose that the new update would contain either a Halloween DLC or an Army DLC, weeks after the last 1.17 update was released.

According to Chinatopix.com, YouTube tipster DomisLive revealed that multinational video game developer Rockstar Games may possibly release a Halloween DLC this October 31, despite speculations that this may not push through due to the recent release of the "Last Team Standing DLC" last October 2.

If it would happen, Chinatopix said it would be the second time that Rockstar releases two DLCs less than a month in between. Last June 17, the "I'm Not a Hipster" update was released, and a couple of weeks later, on July 1, the "Independence Day" seasonal holiday update was released.

Where do these speculations come from? According to Christian Today, the speculations came after alleged statements that the 1.8 update would be released this October 31.

Christian Today, citing DomisLive, said the release of the 1.8 update could coincide with the release of a Halloween DLC. The report also noted that many "GTA" players are eyeing awesome spooky costumes, like masks of zombies, skeletons, vampires, scarecrows, werewolves, and pumpkins would be included in the DLC. Awesome Halloween weapons are also expected to come with the game.

The International Business Times, meanwhile, said that there were previous rumors that a zombie DLC for "GTA 5 Online" may be included in the PlayStation 4 version. These rumors have never been confirmed. However, the report citing Gamerant said some videos found on YouTube suggest its possibility.

Christian Today, however, noted that the "GTA" community is also looking forward to an Army DLC which they speculate would be released on November 11, Veterans Day. It is expected that the Army DLC would highlight the new Hydra jet and the Attack Helicopter.

Another YouTube tipster named iCrazyTeddy said that the "GTA 5" Halloween DLC would be released earlier than what has been speculated. He said it would be released on the eve of Halloween, October 30, Christian Today reported.

iCrazyTeddy also reasoned out that Rockstar Games usually release "GTA 5" updates on Tuesdays. But this was broken when it released the "Last Team Standing DLC" on October 2, Thursday. October 30 also falls on a Thursday.

The rumors that Rockstar Games would release a zombie DLC started in August when a PlayStation magazine cover showed a teaser of the zombie DLC, The International Business News said in the report. Several rumors that it would be released by November also piled up, it added.
