Psy, the Korean rapper behind mega-hit song "Gangnam Style" is getting comfortable in front of an American audience. Britney Spears, for example, recently tweeted "I am LOVING this video - so fun! Thinking that I should possibly learn the choreography. Anybody wanna teach me? haha."

On Monday, Psy gave Spears a surprise visit on the Ellen show and taught Spears and Ellen his famous horse dance. Ellen, who says she has tried the dance before, maintains that "it's easier than it looks." She seemed concerned that Spears' wardrobe would hinder her impromptu dance lesson, as Spears was clad in a tight, form-fitting dress and super high heels.

"You have to take your shoes off," Ellen told Spears. "You're not going to be able to dance like that!"

Psy interjected and told the two women, "No, no, this is fine because the mindset of this dance is dress classy and dance cheesy." The three went on to successfully perform the dance in front of the studio audience and the millions of viewers tuning in from home.

"Gangnam Style" also debuted at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. At the show, Psy appeared onstage alongside VMA host Kevin Hart, and as the song was played Hart and Psy did the dance together. Hart went on to interview Psy for a short while, and as the camera panned the audience, viewers caught Katy Perry doing the dance in her seat. Once the interview ended, the song played once again and Psy and Hart danced the horse dance as they exited the stage.

After having signed a deal recently with Def Jam Records, Psy is on his way to making himself a household name in America. His introduction to international superstardom came when his "Gangnam Style" video first debuted on YouTube in July. It has since garnered over 144 million views.

Psy is still rocking the music charts as well. On the iTunes Top 100 songs chart, "Gangnam Style" is #27. On the iTunes Top 100 Music Video Chart, it remains at #1. On Billboard's Social 50 Chart, the song is also #1. On Billboard's World Albums Chart, Psy comes in at #2 and lastly, on Billboard's K-pop Hot 100 Chart, "Gangnam Style" is currently #2.
