Iggy Azalea made headlines once more, and this time it's no thanks to Snoop Dogg. She's recently been declared Maxim Australia's hottest woman among 99 others on the magazine's annual list, the Daily Mail said.

However, the "Fancy" artist was not completely pleased about this turn of events. And that's because the publication had used an image that was taken three years ago. The Aussie rapstress subsequently launched a Twitter rant and put the blame on the Australian division of her record label.

"Im going to publicly say something to the Australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately," her first tweet about the issue read. "Stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers," the second post said.

"Australian label, i love you guys but you allowed my image to be sold to cosmo Aus when i told you i would prefer for that not to happen," she continued. "And now this morning i see you've allowed maxim Australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover."

"I think its awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but theres a right way to make that happen and the Australian label clearly aren't respecting my wishes. A magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image," she went on to say, as quoted by The Sydney Morning Herald. "Maxim Australia, thanks for the love and I'm sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys."

This is what you get when you mess with Iggy! While the photo in question is not at all unflattering, what got the 24-year-old chart-topping artist's goat was the fact that the photo was used without her consent. She's currently managed by rapper T.I. and is signed with Island Def Jam Music Group.

Previously, Iggy had figured in another controversy involving another magazine, Cosmopolitan. She was the publication's cover girl in the August 2014 issue, the Daily Mail said.

"The photo caused controversy at the time as it appeared it may have been airbrushed to slim down the 'Fancy' hitmaker's famous hips and thighs," the British entertainment news source said. The magazine had gone on to deny altering Iggy's physical attributes.

"It goes against our body love policy to remove inches from anyone's body - whether it's a celebrity, a model or a reader appearing in the magazine," Cosmo was quoted by Entertainmentwise as saying. "We think Iggy is fantastic and should be celebrated, which is why we've put her on the cover of Cosmo."
