Katy Perry New Boyfriend is Riff Raff? Baby 'Future' On the Way? [Rumors]

Back in March this year, rapper Riff Raff confirmed that he and singer Katy Perry went on a "sushi, bowling, and drinks" date, TMZ reported. He also said that he had a blast and would love an encore of their date. Not long afterwards, the "Roar" singer posted a photo on Instagram showing her and Riff Raff smiling for the camera, sparking the buzz that the two are indeed dating.

Then, at Sunday's MTV VMAs, the duo showed up dressed as denim-clad Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, who wore their "iconic" matching outfits back in 2001 at the American Music Awards, Time recalled.

"Perry and RiFF RAFF recently teamed up for 'This Is How We Do,' out on iTunes tomorrow," the news source noted. "The pop diva has previously joked about dating rumors surrounding her and Riff Raff."

"#TBT to when RIFF RAFF @JODYHiGHROLLER & I were dating & we took it to da studio to make dat real magic," Katy tweeted on August 21.

But what about those rumors about the two having a baby?

This new rumor began after the pair mentioned about a baby after the show. They were spotted walking to their car and someone from TMZ asked if they're a couple, Bustle noted.

Their answer? "We got a couple kids on the way," Riff Raff replied, which made Katy giggle.

"Perry rubs her hand up against the tinted window à la Titanic and when they roll down the window, Perry says, 'I love him," the site continued.

When asked about a baby in a music video (or something to that effect), she said, "That's our baby, Future."

"Or maybe she's saying, 'That our baby - future.' Either she's saying that it's their future baby, or that their baby is named Future like Ciara and Future the Elder's," Bustle speculated.

Meanwhile, pop diva Britney had given Katy's "throwback" denim dress her stamp of approval.

"@katyperry Just when I thought the denim dress had retired....you bring it back! You looked amazing tonight bb ;)," Brit tweeted.

On the other hand, The Wall Street Journal noted that the rapper "was clearly a winner" although he wasn't nominated at the MTV VMAs. "By escorting Katy Perry - and sporting a studded denim suit that matched hers - the rapper essentially photobombed the awards show," the news source said.
