After Samsung Galaxy S5's release came the speculations of the next iteration: what will S6 be like?

"The early buzz around the Samsung Galaxy S6 is promising," TechRadar analyzed. "We can theorise for example that a QHD screen is likely, given that LG has brought them to the mainstream in the LG G3."

"In fact there's a small chance that Samsung might even go further than that and equip the Galaxy S6 with a 3840 x 2160 UHD display, as the company has previously said that it wants to have UHD screens on smartphones by 2015," the site added.

Regarding the release date of the Galaxy S6, the Korean tech juggernaut has not yet confirmed the launch date of the said model, fueling more predictions on when Samsung will unleash the next edition of this much-anticipated device. Some, like GalaxyS6Samsung.com, have speculated a February 2015 release, which fits into the timeframe of the company's goals regarding the release of smartphones with UHD screens. That is, if the device definitely is to have such a feature.

"We may also be in for a 64-bit processor, as Google has finally added 64-bit support to Android with Android L. That in turn could mean more RAM, though we can't see it going above the 32-bit limit of 4GB," TechRadar continued. "As for which processor specifically it will use, our best guess at the moment is that it will feature one of Qualcomm's new high end chips, the Snapdragon 808 or the Snapdragon 810, both of which are 64-bit enabled and expected to arrive in devices during the first half of 2015."

It must be remembered that these are all speculations, as the follow up to the S5 have yet to be formally announced, especially given the fact that Samsung still has the Galaxy Alpha to market and bring all our attention to for now. The said 4.7-inch gadget, which seem to share many similarities in specs with the rumored iPhone 6, will be launched in September this year.

In addition, Air Herald forecasted that the S6 may be sold at prices hovering under $1,000, considering the fact that "the Galaxy S5 and S4 both launched for less than $1,000." The site also predicted a spring release for this smartphones next year.

Furthermore, some sources have revealed that the S6 may very well have an all-metal casing, as quoted by The Epoch Times. However, according to the site, "Samsung will have difficulties transitioning to an all-metal Galaxy S6 because most metal case suppliers are tied up with Apple."
