The iPhone 5 won't be seen till the highly anticipated Sept. 12 press conference that Apple has officially confirmed earlier this week.

With the date rapidly approaching, new information is leaking such as features, accessories, and now the boot screen with the iOS 6 has hit the web.

According to MicGagdet, a "tipster" told the Chinese tech media Vgooo.com that he "accidentally discovered an iPhone 5 prototype" while visiting a friend at Foxconn's factory in Jincheng, located in China's northern Shanxi province.

The tipster told Vgooo that the Foxconn worker "needs to finish some touch-up to complete the 3,000 iPhone 5 back panels every night in recent months."

The tipster added that the new Apple smartphone is thinner and taller. The tipster also took video of turning the device on which had the iOS 6 operating system included. An iPhone 4S device was next to the iPhone 5 to show a comparison.

A message appeared on the iPhone 5's rumored iOS 6 boot screen, stating, "This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the program, please register your device in the @@url@@."

The iOS 6 is expected to launch on the same Sept. 12 press conference. As Latinos Post reported, one of the new OS' features is an updated Siri that will understand sports, movies, restaurants, and familiarize languages better compared to the iPhone 4S version.

iOS 6 will be supported by the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, the new iPad, and the fourth gen iPad touch, Its features include improved Facebook integration, a Passbook feature for digital transactions, a live 3D map system, an updated Siri, and upgraded instant share options for photos, maps, websites, and apps. The OS also includes a "Do Not Disturb" feature that puts a stop to notifications.
