Someone's missing his ex big time -- or maybe, not. Drake might have Rihanna on his mind while performing his song, "Days In The East," during his concert in Toronto, Daily Mail said. The song, as what some pundits say, describes Drake's tumultuous affair with the "Diamonds" singer.

And by tumultuous, we are not referring to the toxic relationship Rihanna had with Chris Brown. It could be recalled that Drake and Brown got into a physical altercation back in 2012 at a New York hotspot over Rihanna. Moreover, there were rumors that the Barbados beauty wasn't totally focused on her relationship with Drake because allegedly, she was still having commitment issues, because of her previous relationship with the recently incarcerated Grammy awardee.

Nonetheless, the 27-year-old rapper managed to let people know his true feelings about Rihanna in the romantic track, which was just released in April.

The lyrics read, "Waitin' on you to give in and hit me up/ So I could fall through like old times and hit it up. We talked about love and what life can really be for me/ She said when that s*** is real you just know/ And I was thinking about you, you already know."

Drizzy also managed to take jabs at Brown and rapped the following with gusto, "Told you about giving him chances on chances on chances/ He's not holding you down, he's holding you back right now."

On the other hand, some publications think that Drake might have been singing it with hatred in his heart. It can be recalled that the pair broke up rather badly. Moreover, Hollywood Take said concertgoers noticed that along with the haunting image of Rihanna, projected at the background, images of the number "6" at least three times. "666" is known as the sign of the devil.

A source told Heat magazine that Drake was very hurt when his relationship with Rihanna failed. "He [Drake] gave his whole heart to Rihanna and he feels she stomped on it. He told Rihanna's best friend, Melissa Forde, that Rihanna should forget his face, forget his number and never call or come crying when she's hurt or lonely."

If the source were right, it would also explain why Drake seemed to have made amends with Brown at the ESPYs last month, Hollywood Take noted. The rapper also made an appearance on Drake's video for the ESPN awards ceremony.
