Another young Hollywood couple has recently split. A source confirmed to US Weekly that songstress Ariana Grande has broken up with her boyfriend Jai Brooks for the second time.

News about the couple's apparent split was noted by much of Grande's fans when she posted a cryptic message on Twitter on August 4. It read, "You learn a lot about love, life and the people around you during a time of crisis."

She continued, "July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart," Grande concluded the post, adding, "August is about to be a beautiful, beautiful month. Looking forward to all the good coming up."

Brooks, who is one-part of the Aussie YouTube comedy and prank group known as the Janoskians, was first spotted out in public with Grande back in August 2012. The young couple reportedly called it quits the first time a year later, with Daily Mail saying that Jai claimed that his girlfriend started seeing "The Wanted" star Nathan Sykes while they were still together. The pair recently rekindled their romance in May with a public making-out session following Grande's performance at the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

A source told Hollywood Life about problems in the relationship, "Jai's too immature for her. He was too self-involved also and yes, she's a total workhorse. All she wants to do is make meaningful music, focus also on family and helping her mom and Nona get through her grandpa's death."

An insider told E! Online that the dealbreaker was somewhat personal. The insider said, "When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't. Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been."

On the other hand, an US Weekly source said that the 21 year-old "Problem" singer is just eager to focus on her work, especially with her impending album release. The source said, "She's gearing up for her album release so she's focused on that."

Interestingly, the 19-year-old YouTube celebrity opted for a short but all-telling message also on August 4, which read, "No war let's love."

Is there still hope for the two after everything that happened? Maybe so, but until then, fans of the former couple might have to wait for signs about the two getting back together, even if it means for them to live their lives with other people.
