Robert Pattinson has finally spoken about his infamous split with actress, Kristen Stewart, in an interview with Esquire UK's September issue this year. Now that Stewart is reportedly getting close with Nicholas Hoult, is RPatz feeling the blues?
Christian Today recalled that a major trigger to the demise of the former couple's relationship was due to a series of paparazzi shots of Stewart and her "Snow White and the Hunstman" director, Rupert Sanders, kissing and hugging in their secret rendezvous. Sanders, who was married with two children, saw the collapse of his marriage as the result of the scandal, while Pattinson might have considered it as a sign for him to move on with his life without Stewart.
Pattinson told the mag, "The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict. It's like that scene in Doubt (drama film starred by Philip Seymour Hoffman, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams), where he's talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you've got to go and collect all the feathers."
It is not clear whether Pattinson has fond memories of his relationship with Stewart, but for him, "S*** happens, you know? It's just young people ... it's normal! And honestly, who gives a s***?"
Pattinson might have moved on from his ex-girlfriend, but is there something going on between Stewart and Hoult? Noise regarding Stewart being the reason behind Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence's breakup started when photos of the "Equals" co-stars made the rounds on Twitter, MStarz reported. The pair were in casual wear when they grabbed sushi for dinner on Thursday. The two apparently tried to be incognito, to no avail.
When Stewart was asked about her thoughts on real feelings, which is the premise of her and Hoult's latest sci-fi flick, Variety quoted her as saying, "I'm definitely not afraid of ‘feels.' My life revolves around it actually. Finding the balance between the head and the heart is important but I've always been very driven by the gut. Every thought or articulated emotion starts in shapes and colors and putting your finger on that is cool, but it's not necessary."
Hoult, who was asked if he desired living in an emotionless world, replied, "That obviously would be the easy way out, but no, I like to feel everything, take the highs and the lows."
