August is knocking on our doors, and so is a whole batch of new, cool kicks from Nike.

This Saturday, August 2, the KD7 "Global Game" will be dropping at 8:00 a.m. EDT on Nike's official site, retailing at $150. The "action red/metallic silver" shoes is seventh in the Kevin Durant line of signature shoes under the sporting apparel giant's banner. According to the accompanying blurb, this eye-poppingly scarlet footwear "fuses performance innovation with a creative narrative across five color ways that are centered on the weather."

"Nike designer Leo Chang created an innovative shoe for Durant that meets the needs of the reigning MVP's quickness, power and unpredictability, just like the forces of nature," the description went on. "Creatively, Chang applied Durant's on- and off-court insights that are brought to life through color blocking, graphics and textures to tell stories that are both personal and inspired."

Sounds mine-able, indeed. The color definitely makes you stand out from the crowd. Will you be getting this pair? Or are you holding out for the Jordan 14 "Grey Wolf"?

"The newest colorway of the Air Jordan 14 Retro features a light Wolf Grey upper with hits of Sport Blue on the heel and tongue. The grey midsole and white outsole combination completes the sleek look," went the blurb that came with the soon-to-be-released kicks, which will also be launched this Saturday, same time as the "Global Game." It will be yours for a cool $170. Cue long, low whistle.

If you're into something a bit more funky and urban, go for the Hyperdunk 2014 "City Collection," which is "made with dynamic Flywire technology for adaptive support and lockdown from end to end."

"Responsive Lunarlon cushioning delivers impact protection to soften landings," Nike's description continued. "This set of Hyperdunks showcases bright color fades and speckles on the midsoles and uppers. Each colorway has a city callout on the tongue, with an abstract geometric interpretation of that city's flag."

Great performance from a great looking shoe - this pair is going to be your sole-mate. More so if you're also from one of the "four great basketball cities: Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, and the District of Columbia," the abbreviations of which will be printed on the shoes' tongues, according to Hypebeast.

Raring to get these kicks? You'll have to wait until August 7 to get it at Nike's online shop, though.

Tell us - which one will you be getting? Or will you take all three and add more to your current collection?
