As the supposed drama inside the marriage of power couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z unfolds online, rumors are getting crazier by the minute on the pair's crumbling union. Purportedly, at the center of it all is Rihanna, who had been a one-time protege of the rap mogul.

Now, an insider claimed to Hollywood Life that Rihanna is not what everyone thinks she is in the power couple's lives. The insider said, "Rihanna has been enjoying being out of the spotlight and enjoying the anonymity of being alone, but these constant claims of her and Jay Z having sex are just ridiculous."

The insider also stressed that the notion of Rihanna and Jay Z having an affair is absurd. The source added, "Jay is like a father figure to Rihanna. Over the years, he's helped groom her into the star she's become and has been nothing but supportive of her and her career. That's just it, nothing else. Jay is married, and even if she wanted to step to him, which I assure you she doesn't, it wouldn't even go down because he's married and that's simply foul and out of line."

On the other hand, there are also reports that the couple's union is anything but romantic. Another source, who claims to be a friend of the couple, told New York Daily News said that the two have been told by advisers to play the happy couple for social media and the paparazzi and that they would be issuing a joint statement of the collapse of their marriage as soon as their "On the Run" tour wraps.

"Let's leave it at it's only a matter of time (until they split.) It's so obvious now it's embarrassing. Around the time the tour ends, they'll make a choice on whether they want to separate or admit trouble," the anonymous pal of the couple told the site.

It has been said that ahead of the ending of their highly-successful tour, Beyonce is secretly on the prowl for a new home for her life after Jay Z. The singer is said to have looked at a $21.5 million Chelsea penthouse in New York last month just weeks after that famous elevator altercation between her sister and her husband.

"She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly," the source said.
