Ever since "The Leftovers" actor Justin Theroux fell in love with Jennifer Aniston, things haven't been the same for the low-key 42-year-old. When you're the boyfriend, and now fiance, of one of the world's most famous celebrities, it's hard not to find yourself in the spotlight alongside her, as he soon found out. However, it appears this did not faze him.

"He and Jen fell in a real, legit fashion and he was willing from the jump to make sacrifices," mutual friend Robert Downey Jr. said, according to Details. "Those sacrifices are the battalions of paparazzi that hound him and Aniston, whose love life has been in the tabloid crosshairs for more than a decade," the publication added.

In a recent interview with Elle, Justin echoes his commitment to his relationship with Jen, although not without a couple of complaints about the consequences of being a couple whose every move is documented in photographs and gossip columns.

"My life changed a lot," he said, talking about his relationship with his "Wanderlust" co-star and the ensuing paparazzi attention.

"More people are like, 'Hey, man!' And I don't think that's from my role in John Adams," he told the magazine. "But it only changed as much as I engaged with it, and I learned very quickly: Don't ever engage with it. Just JKL."

"It was a learning curve, but it wasn't as traumatic as you might expect. It's just annoying," he added. "Occasionally you'll get a stewardess congratulating you, on, I don't know, whatever, some three-headed baby we just had."

Regarding the soap opera that his life has become since being Jennifer's man, this was what he had to say about the press writing about his lovelife, as noted by The Daily Mail:

"I can't get over how terrible the narrative is, just how poorly written it is. It's worse than a telenovela. It's so dramatic. Like, 'They're broken up, they're together, they're storming out, storming in, rushing out, rushing in.' They make every celebrity look like a schizophrenic."

Amy Sedaris, a good friend of Justin's, said that while the actor certainly has his dark side, he "really does blossom with sunshine," E! News noted. "Justin is like a girlfriend. He'll do girly things with you: He'll tan, he'll put your makeup on for you, he gives great advice," she added.

No wonder Jen's so into him!

The couple will soon celebrate the second year anniversary of their engagement in August next month. Will they cap it off with a wedding? They're not telling, but that doesn't keep us from wondering!
